## Description

OMaps is an online map archive dedicated to orienteering, helping individuals, clubs and associations discover and organize maps from around the world. Visitors can explore thousands of maps, browse directories and search using filters such as map name, date, user, club, location and notes. Maps can also be sorted by different criteria, making it easier to find relevant entries across a growing collection.

For clubs and associations, OMaps offers the option to start and maintain their own map archive, bringing local resources together in one place. The site features directories for regions and organizations, with listings that show the number of maps available, as well as recently added maps and active contributors. Users can create an account or sign in to access the platform’s archive features. OMaps also provides support and publishes information about privacy, terms of use and site ownership. By combining worldwide discovery with tools for club-level archiving and course setting, OMaps serves as a practical resource for the orienteering community.
