## Description

The Hungarian Mining and Metallurgical Society (Országos Magyar Bányászati és Kohászati Egyesület, or OMBKE) is a professional association serving Hungary’s mining and metallurgy communities. Founded in 1892, it brings together members through local groups and specialist sections, and works with Hungarian and international organisations across mining, metal production, earth sciences, energy and engineering.
