## Description

ONA, the National Accreditation Organization of Brazil, supports the improvement of healthcare quality through accreditation and related educational and professional initiatives. Its work focuses on encouraging good practices, patient safety, continuous improvement, and excellence across healthcare organizations. The organization reports a network of 1,900 accredited organizations, 800 evaluators, and 55,000 students.

ONA provides information and resources for healthcare organizations seeking accreditation, alongside pathways for clients, evaluators, consultants, consulting firms, institutional accreditation entities, and partners. Its offerings include in-person courses on topics such as communication for healthcare leaders, patient safety, adapting protocols, safety culture, and practical quality improvement. The site also features a library, a store, accreditation information, and listings of accredited organizations and accreditation bodies.

Through news, events, testimonials, and its #VoceNaONA initiative, ONA shares perspectives on healthcare quality and invites organizations to present practices that contribute to better results. Founded associations and institutional partners include healthcare, hospital, medical cooperative, and health insurance organizations.
