## Description

Onboard is a Danish platform that brings services for water sports, sailing and rowing communities together in one app. Created through collaboration between Danish water-sports organisations and sailing clubs, it aims to simplify life on the water and reduce the need to use separate apps. The free app is available for iOS and Android and serves beginners, experienced sailors, club members and administrators.

Users can discover and book products, sign up for events, follow news, and create or join groups to share activities and experiences. Onboard also offers route tracking through the app and compatible products, plus map information on wind, currents, warning areas and notices in Danish waters. Its SOS feature connects users to the maritime rescue coordination service and shares their location to help responders find them.

Clubs, associations and federations can join the platform to manage their presence and connect with their communities. Membership fees are set by the participating organisations, so they may vary.
