One Body Collaboratives

One Body Collaboratives is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to mobilizing and coordinating church and community resources to rebuild lives and transform our community. With a mission to create a flourishing community, they strive to reduce poverty by helping under-resourced individuals and families build life stability. They also work towards breaking down the barriers that hinder this progress by advocating for systems change.

One Body Collaboratives is committed to racial reconciliation as well, assisting churches in the Rockford area to gain a shared understanding of the restorative reconciliation process. This includes lament, confession, forgiveness, righting wrongs, and restoring relationships. In addition, they unite Christian churches across denominational lines, providing opportunities for faith leaders to come together, learn from one another, foster fellowship, and ultimately create Kingdom impact by addressing community needs.
