**One Foot Forward** is a community-driven initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funding for mental health in Australia. Every October, participants walk, run, or roll in solidarity with the estimated 1 in 5 Australians experiencing mental illness. This year's event encourages individuals to sign up for free, share their journey, and log their kilometers while raising funds for groundbreaking mental health services provided by the Black Dog Institute.

Through its events, the initiative fosters a supportive network, showing participants they are not alone in their struggles. With an inspiring goal of $273,225 raised so far, One Foot Forward aims to dismantle stigma and facilitate access to vital treatment and education for those in need.
