## Description

GreatFireVPN is a virtual private network service developed by GreatFire.org, an anti-censorship organization founded in 2011. It is designed to help people access the open internet in countries with strict restrictions, including China, Russia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Myanmar, and India, and is also used in Cuba. Drawing on more than a decade of experience, the service uses multiple circumvention methods and automatically selects a suitable connection for network conditions. Features include connections to more than 100 servers worldwide, split tunneling on Android, and local bypass for selected services in supported countries. GreatFireVPN says it does not log online activity or collect personal data, and users can try the service without registering or providing an email address. Apps are available for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. A free trial provides 30 days of access, with paid plans offered for 30, 90, 180, or 365 days. One account supports up to 10 simultaneous devices, and payment options include cryptocurrency, app stores, and other methods depending on location.
