## Description

The Oncology Nursing Foundation is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting cancer nursing excellence. Since 1981, the Foundation has provided over $32 million in funding for oncology nursing education, research, and leadership development through generous contributions. These funds have enabled career development awards, academic scholarships, research grants, specialized educational initiatives, and nurse resiliency support, significantly impacting patient care and advancing the oncology nursing profession.

Key milestones in the Foundation's journey include the creation in 1981, the first Mara Mogensen Flaherty Memorial Lectureship Award in 1982, the first research grant in 1984, and the milestone of $31+ million given over 41 years in 2022. The Foundation's core pillars focus on education, research, and leadership to ensure the next generation of oncology nurses can provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations equitably.

Support the Foundation's mission by contributing to the excellence of caring for patients with cancer.
