# ONG ARCO - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ongarco.org` ## Description Arco, also known as Ação Regional de Contribuição Social e Oportunidades, is a nonprofit organization founded in 2022 to advance the rights and well-being of LGBTQIAP+, Black, peripheral, and other marginalized communities. Based in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, with a particular focus on Jaboatão dos Guararapes, it works to confront discrimination, structural violence, and social exclusion. Its programs and initiatives span health, education, advocacy, communication, and culture, with an emphasis on empowerment, comprehensive care, community strengthening, visibility, and social justice.
