## Description

Online Familieberichten is a project by the Stichting Online-Verleden, dedicated to preserving and sharing family announcements like birth, marriage, and obituary notices from national and regional newspapers. With a vast database of over 2 million entries, including memorials, condolences, and more, this platform caters to genealogy researchers. Unlike similar projects, Online Familieberichten remains a free service, thanks to the dedicated team of volunteers constantly updating the site. To support this valuable resource, donations are welcomed, helping maintain the website and reduce advertisement visibility for logged-in users. Additionally, the platform now allows users to contribute their own family-related documents, ensuring a comprehensive archive. By fostering community involvement and upholding copyright standards, Online Familieberichten stands as a reliable and accessible resource for tracing familial histories. Join this initiative, contribute, and explore the wealth of family memories and histories available at your fingertips.
