## Description

Nevada Humanities, based in Reno, NV, is a brand dedicated to engaging and enriching the lives of Nevadans through educational and cultural programs. They are a publicly funded non-profit organization that aims to foster intellectual, cultural, and civic engagement within the communities they serve. One of their notable projects is the Online Nevada Encyclopedia (ONE), an authoritative source of information on the rich and unique history and heritage of Nevada. Thanks to the support of generous sponsors, ONE is accessible to anyone with internet access, making it a valuable resource for researchers, students, and history enthusiasts. Nevada Humanities' team, including program assistants Tess Maples, Drew Gerthoffer, and Scott Goodin, along with program manager Dr. Karen Wikander, work diligently to ensure that ONE provides accurate and comprehensive information. With the contributions of editors, contributors, and project partners, they have curated an extensive collection of archival materials and expertise. Nevada Humanities' mission is to inspire individuals to explore challenging ideas, unite communities, and celebrate Nevada's history and heritage. By supporting Nevada Humanities, you can contribute to their dynamic programs that promote learning, cultural understanding, and engagement.
