## Description

Onterfd Goed is a non-profit organization dedicated to Dutch art and heritage, located in Eindhoven. It serves as a pivotal adoption counter where art enthusiasts can acquire pieces that are often overlooked or no longer needed by museums. The organization boasts a collection of over three thousand artworks, including prints and large oil paintings, available for purchase in its physical store and online webshop. Open from Wednesday to Saturday and Sundays during August, it offers a diverse range of authentic artworks that allow the public to rescue 'orphaned' heritage.

Beyond sales, Onterfd Goed actively advises museums and heritage institutions on how to enhance their collections by helping them identify redundant objects for deaccessioning. The proceeds from sales are reinvested to assist other heritage stewards. By focusing on storytelling over mere collection accumulation, Onterfd Goed not only preserves significant historical works but also supports cultural enrichment and accessibility for all. With a commitment to making art affordable and meaningful, Onterfd Goed represents a unique intersection of art preservation and community engagement.
