## Description

On The Green is a golf-focused business that combines environmental consultancy and underwater lake maintenance with the recovery and resale of golf balls. The company says its team includes marine biologists experienced in environmental impact studies and underwater work, alongside a health and safety technician.

Its services are tailored to golf-course lakes and include quarterly ecological assessments, underwater cleaning and maintenance of equipment, underwater filming, and water sampling for laboratory analysis. Working with course greenkeepers, On The Green aims to address the needs of individual lakes, improve equipment performance, reduce energy costs, and support better irrigation-water quality. The site states that consultancy and maintenance are provided to golf courses without charge.

To generate revenue, the business collects golf balls from lakes, then washes, sorts, and grades those suitable for reuse before selling them to players and golf courses at competitive prices. Other recovered balls are sent for recycling. Its online shop categorizes used balls by condition, including technically sound balls with visible discoloration and balls described as nearly new, which may bear logos or player signatures. The shop also lists PowerBug electric golf trolleys.
