Ookoohko is an independent game studio that was founded by Sami Arola, Toni Laakso, and Jarkko Salminen. The studio was active from 2009 to 2018, with a focus on creating high-quality games. Their aim was to develop games that were both enjoyable and successful, working on one project at a time.

Their first game for iOS, called Get Outta My Galaxy, was released in 2011 and received positive reviews and enthusiastic feedback. However, despite its success, it was not able to sustain the studio financially. They also had another game in the works, titled Zero Tolerance Hero, but unfortunately, it never received an official worldwide release.

As of October 2022, the team has moved on to new endeavors. Sami now works at Combo Breaker & Fireframe Studios while occasionally creating music using his sample libraries. Jarkko is involved in game art creation at Supercell and enjoys spending his free time with a C=64 and pixels.

Toni focuses on web development, guitar playing, learning Swift, and occasionally discovering new music. While Ookoohko may no longer be active, their passion for creating engaging games lives on through their individual pursuits
