## Description

OpenArmwrestling is a comprehensive, open-source archive dedicated to documenting armwrestling competition results from around the globe. This platform features an extensive database that currently includes information on 64,128 athletes across 95 federations, reflecting 2,487 competitions and more than 326,600 individual results spanning from 1966 to 2026. It operates as an independent public-beta database, focusing on providing accurate and trustworthy data sourced from official federation publications, event organizers, and public records.

OpenArmwrestling invites contributions from the community, allowing users to submit or correct results, which helps maintain the archive's integrity. The resource includes both tournament placements and detailed bout-by-bout results where available, enabling a rich understanding of athletes' performances. While not an official governing body, the platform offers insights into rankings that are dynamically updated with each new entry, making it a valuable tool for enthusiasts, competitors, and historians alike.
