## Description

Open Art Files is a bilingual online platform dedicated to contemporary Bulgarian art, functioning as both a comprehensive database and an art criticism environment. Launched in 2019 as part of the "Introduction to Contemporary Art" initiative by the Open Arts Foundation and Sariev Contemporary Gallery, the website aggregates essential resources, including an online library and a monthly exhibition guide for Bulgaria.

The platform features several key sections: Topics, People, Spaces, Documents, Video Channel, This Month, and Publications. It offers specially curated texts by critics, curators, and artists, profiles of creative professionals, and detailed information on artistic spaces. The Documents section acts as an online library with articles, exhibition brochures, and other archival materials. Additionally, the Video Channel presents selected lectures and research videos on art.

Open Art Files has grown to encompass over 180 profiles of artists and curators, contributing to a deeper understanding of Bulgaria's contemporary art landscape while facilitating educational opportunities for both emerging and established professionals in the field.
