## Description

Open Data Armenia is a project dedicated to making data about Armenia, the Armenian language, and Armenian culture easier to discover and use. It works to build understanding of the value of open data among both data publishers and the communities that use it, while supporting a sustainable ecosystem for publishing and working with data in the Republic of Armenia. Its work brings together public authorities, educational and scientific institutions, nonprofit and cultural organizations, and other interested groups.

The project studies, organizes, and maintains catalogs of publicly available data, and develops projects that put this information to practical use. It also helps civil servants, researchers, media professionals, and journalists build data skills, and supports specialists in exploring new ways to work with information. Services include data collection, analysis, and visualization, as well as the development of data tools. Through workshops, hackathons, conferences, and community activities, Open Data Armenia encourages collaboration across Armenia and its diaspora.
