## Description

Open Food Network is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a fair, local, and transparent food system. With a global presence spanning over 20 countries, they work closely with 7000+ producers to promote sustainable farming practices and create alternative food networks. At the heart of their mission is their open-source software platform, which empowers farmers, producers, and community food enterprises to manage online farmers markets and sell their products online. Additionally, Open Food Network provides free resources and tools to support farmers and producers, enabling them to thrive in the local food economy. With a focus on community empowerment, Open Food Network fosters a global commons, allowing for collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the sector.
