## Description

OpenLaw is a Danish legal-access platform created by the non-profit association Foreningen OpenLaw. Its mission is to make Danish case law freely accessible by collecting, organizing, and presenting cases and court schedules from the country’s courts. The platform reports a database of more than 16,800 cases and coverage of nine courts, including the Supreme Court, the Eastern and Western High Courts, and the Maritime and Commercial High Court.

Visitors can search for specific judgments or explore cases relevant to their circumstances. Search tools include filters for court, case type, and date, alongside an AI-powered intelligent search feature. OpenLaw provides access to decision databases and court listings, with case information such as dates, case numbers, subjects, hearing types, summaries, and full text where available. Its listings span a wide range of legal matters, including criminal law, contracts, insurance, tenancy, taxation, and compensation.

The organization also invites users to provide feedback, support its work, or become members. OpenLaw is based in Copenhagen and describes its service as being in beta.
