## Description

Open Panzer is an open-source project developing electronics for radio-controlled tanks and other military models. Its principal product is the Tank Control Board, or TCB, a feature-rich tank controller with extensive configuration options. Unlike some all-in-one control boards, the TCB requires external speed controls for tank movement, such as standard hobby electronic speed controllers or dual-motor serial controllers. Users configure its capabilities with OP Config, a Windows desktop program, and can consult the project’s Wiki and Quick Start Guide for documentation and setup help. The TCB is available to purchase from Torro in Germany, which offers worldwide shipping. Open Panzer has also designed a sound card, a dual-motor controller, a light controller for RC cars and other models, and additional user adaptations of the TCB. These other designs are not sold as products, but their hardware and firmware are open source for people who want to build them. The project website also provides downloads and a community forum where users can ask questions and share information.
