## Description

Open Source CMS, known as OpenSourceCMS.com, is a leading brand in the world of content management systems (CMS). Founded in 2002 by Scott Goodwin, the brand was born out of a need for a better way to test and install CMS platforms. With the goal of allowing users to try out various CMS options without the hassle of installation, Open Source CMS quickly gained popularity. Originally running on PHP-Nuke, the website featured a few demos that were manually re-installed by Scott every few days. Recognizing the potential in the market, Scott created OpenSourceHost.com, a hosting company specializing in open source CMS platforms, which he successfully sold in 2007. AOE, a prominent web consultancy, acquired OpenSourceCMS.com in 2011 with the commitment to expand it into a premier resource for open source CMS enthusiasts. GFDK, a digital advisory company, took over the brand in 2017. Open Source CMS offers a wide range of CMS solutions for various purposes, including blogging, e-commerce, forums, and image galleries. They are dedicated to providing unbiased information and allowing users to explore the best CMS tools without any marketing fluff or salespeople. With an extensive collection of CMS demos, Open Source CMS is the go-to platform for anyone seeking reliable and tested CMS options. Explore the world of open source CMS tools with Open Source CMS.
