## Description

OpenVC is a brand that aims to build the front door into venture capital. Founded by two passionate makers, Steph and Lucas, OpenVC launched in March 2021 with a mission to create an open gateway between founders and investors worldwide. Today, OpenVC is driving deal flow for over 1,000 VC firms, angel networks, and corporate funds, with more than 100 pitch decks sent through their platform every week. OpenVC is committed to being radically free and open. Founders can search for VCs for free, while VCs can receive pitch decks for free as well. The brand is also exploring sustainable ways to monetize in the future, such as a paid API or a sponsored newsletter. Transparency is a core value for OpenVC, and they even publish their live traffic data for everyone to see on their Open Startup page. OpenVC provides a comprehensive platform for tech founders to connect with investors. They offer an investor list, a fundraising CRM, and a deck hosting solution for free, without any commission or subscription fees. For founders who want fundraising superpowers, OpenVC offers a premium membership. Additionally, OpenVC screens all deal flow for quality and thesis fit to ensure that investors receive relevant and valuable outreach.
