## Description

OpenWorks Engineering is a Northumberland-based defence technology company developing intelligent optical systems for counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS), air defence and surveillance. Its technologies are designed to detect, track, identify and target dynamic threats with precision, speed and increasing autonomy. The company serves military, policing and critical national infrastructure applications, providing modular systems that can be configured for static, mobile and uncrewed deployments.

Its product range includes VISION FLEX, modular camera payloads for real-time detection, identification and tracking; VISION PACE, stabilised tracking and targeting systems intended for highly dynamic aerial threats; and VISION GUARD, a rapidly deployable, configurable surveillance system for covert observation and forward operations. OpenWorks also offers SkyWall Patrol, a handheld system that captures drones using a smart projectile, and Net Capture systems for physical drone capture. Its technology includes 360-degree vision, AI classification and motion control modules, and its collaborative interfaces support integration with third-party detectors, classifiers, interceptors and effectors. OpenWorks reports deployments worldwide since 2016 and maintains offices in the United Kingdom and the United States.
