## Description

Openworld is a philanthropic initiative focused on using free markets, digital innovation, and local partnerships to support economic empowerment in developing regions. Its work centers on “Seeds of Change” offers: microscholarships, microvouchers, telework opportunities, and practical toolkits that help students and community ventures develop skills and create sustainable opportunities. Openworld supports entrepreneurial schools, Internet centers, and other grassroots projects, connecting them with sponsors, policy institutes, foundations, and digital donors.

A key part of its strategy is helping communities establish locally anchored free zones, using land grants and business-climate reforms to attract investment, create jobs, and strengthen education, health care, and other social initiatives. The organization also develops research, presentations, and resources on transparency, e-government, peer learning, reforestation, and market-based development. Its projects and partnerships include work in Gabon, Senegal, Somaliland, and Sri Lanka, as well as support for student-produced videos and digital work-study projects. Openworld invites individuals and organizations to contribute expertise, sponsorship, and funding to grassroots initiatives designed to make communities more resilient and social ventures more sustainable.
