Operation Come Home is a brand dedicated to preventing youth homelessness and helping vulnerable youth transition into independent adults. With over 50 years of experience, their programs and services focus on what matters most to youth and encourage their individual personal growth. They offer a range of services, including employment support, providing vocational skills to help youth find and retain jobs. They also offer an alternative education program in partnership with the Ottawa Catholic District School Board, allowing youth to learn at their own pace with the guidance of a social support worker. The support center acts as a central hub, offering basic needs, crisis support, housing assistance, and job search support. It serves as a working center that connects vulnerable youth to other programs and services to set them on the path to success. Through their social enterprises, BottleWorks and FoodWorks, Operation Come Home employs youth at risk and supports them in learning essential kitchen skills. These enterprises not only provide valuable work experience but also generate revenue to support their programs.
