Operation Dignity is a brand dedicated to fighting homelessness, particularly among veterans. Since 1993, they have been on the forefront of this mission, founded by Alex McElree, a Vietnam War veteran who experienced addiction and homelessness himself. The organization currently owns three properties that provide shelter and housing for 100 veterans and their families daily.

In addition, they collaborate with the cities of Oakland, Emeryville, and Alameda to conduct mobile street outreach, assisting over 100 homeless individuals each day. They also offer low-barrier shelter to more than 250 unhoused Oaklanders every year through their Community Cabins program. Furthermore, Operation Dignity aims to expand the housing supply and provide permanent supportive housing for those in need.
