## Description

Op Hop van Zegen is a Roermond beer festival celebrating craft brewing, local hospitality and community giving. Its eighth edition is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Weerstand, Bredeweg 10, Roermond. The festival brings together the organizers’ own HuZo brewers and a diverse group of breweries and makers from the Netherlands and abroad. Participating names include Aspro Brews, De Achelse Kluis, Populus 6921, Milky Road Brewery, Totenhopfen, Mederij Marcus, Muifel Brouwerij, La Superbe, Strieper Craft Beer Company, Brouwerij Casimir and Koperkoppen. Visitors can sample a variety of beers and enjoy food served throughout the event. Each year, festival proceeds are donated to a charitable cause; in 2026, the chosen beneficiary is Stichting Buurtgezinnen Roermond, which connects families needing support with stable families in their neighbourhood. The event is exclusively for people aged 18 and over, and tickets for the 2026 festival are sold out.
