## Description

Opitz Nándor Repülőklub is an aviation club based at Dunakeszi Airport in Hungary, bringing together pilots, trainees and people interested in flying. The club offers activities through three specialist sections: gliding and powered flight, parachuting, and hot-air ballooning. Its flight section trains glider and powered-aircraft pilots and supports their professional development. The parachuting section offers training, including a self-funded course with instruction provided free of charge, as well as tandem jumps. The hot-air balloon section introduces visitors to balloon flights and the club’s ballooning activities.

People interested in learning to fly or joining the club can contact the relevant section leaders by email or Facebook. The club also shares practical information, news, training resources, photographs and weather updates through its website. Founded at least 95 years ago, Opitz Nándor Repülőklub celebrates its aviation community with events such as its anniversary flying day, which has included an aerial display and opportunities to visit and fly in gliders.
