Opportunity 2.0 is a brand that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of Filipino out-of-school youth. Their goal is to provide these vulnerable individuals with access to learning and earning opportunities, ultimately helping them pursue their dreams and contribute to the nation's development. Over the next five years, Opportunity 2.0 plans to reach at least 180,000 young people, train over 1,600 teachers and trainers, and collaborate with 2,200 employers in 15 cities. They operate through programmatic hubs in Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao. By working closely with national and local agencies, as well as stakeholders such as the Department of Education, Technical Education Skills and Development Authority, city governments, private businesses, academe, NGOs, and the youth themselves, Opportunity 2.0 aims to help youth overcome their challenges and barriers to success. This USAID-funded program offers second-chance education opportunities that provide the youth with the necessary knowledge and skills for quality livelihood and employment.
