## Description

Welcome to the Colorado/Wyoming Optimist District, a dynamic part of Optimist International, dedicated to fostering a brighter future for youth and their communities. Comprising 35 local Optimist Clubs, this district actively engages in charitable initiatives and scholarship programs designed to empower children. Each year, these clubs collectively execute around 65,000 community service projects, impacting six million kids while investing $78 million in uplifting efforts.

Key programs within our district include the Junior Optimist International (JOI) Clubs that inspire students across various school levels, and the Optimist Brain Bowl, a popular quiz competition for middle schoolers. We also offer extensive scholarship contests, such as the Oratorical and Essay contests, aimed at helping students fund their educational aspirations.

Our mission is clear: to instill hope and positive vision in youth by emphasizing health, wellness, and personal growth. Together, we strive to uplift the communities we serve, turning optimism into action. Join us in making a difference today!
