## Description

The Optimum Kenya Trust (OKT) is a United Kingdom-registered charity dedicated to improving secondary education in Kenya. Its mission is to raise the standard of education and enhance the overall school experience for students, while supporting teachers and schools. The Trust’s initial focus is Lenana School in Nairobi, formerly known as the Duke of York School, with the broader aim of contributing to Kenya through educational support.

OKT helps promising students whose families cannot afford their education, including through bursary support. Its work also encompasses projects intended to benefit pupils, staff and the school itself; the organization highlights a new information technology block among its initiatives. Through this combination of student assistance and school-focused projects, the Trust seeks to make a meaningful contribution where support is needed.

The charity shares updates on its activities, projects and school developments through its website and Brooklands Baraza newsletter. Supporters can learn about the organization, follow its news, contribute to its cause or subscribe for updates.
