## Description

Option Zéro is a free mobile app that helps people understand and manage their alcohol consumption, whether they want to reduce it or stop drinking. Offered by the non-profit association CaPASSCité, the service is led by addiction specialist Dr. Géraldine Talbot and builds on the experimental Oz Ensemble program. Its approach is supportive and personalized, without judgment or pressure, and follows French health authority guidance that encourages harm reduction rather than forced abstinence.

The app provides a consumption diary, progress calendar, personalized tracking, practical activities, and articles and advice. Users can set goals, identify patterns and celebrate milestones, while online tests and assessments help them review their consumption. Community testimonials and information about professional support are also available; patients can share their diary with a healthcare professional to support follow-up. The service is designed for people at different stages, from those simply seeking to understand their habits to those aiming to make a change.

Option Zéro says access is entirely free and that personal consumption data remains private.
