## Description

Orange Basket Community Services is an Australian not-for-profit and Australian Disability Enterprise focused on creating meaningful employment opportunities for people living with disabilities, particularly those who need significant support at work. Its person-centred approach recognizes that each participant has different goals and capacities, and tailors training and workplace support accordingly.

The organization offers hands-on, industry-related training, including neurodivergent first aid courses, alongside a six- to ten-week mentoring program. Mentors provide regular encouragement and feedback to help participants gain and maintain employment. Support may also include capacity-building reports for NDIS reviews or behaviour support planning. After training and mentoring, eligible participants may apply for paid work, subject to suitability assessment. Orange Basket aims to build job readiness and help people progress toward lasting careers, with the organization or another employer.

Orange Basket also sponsors participant-led microbusiness concepts under its social enterprise. Its website features a café and laundry, as well as fundraising and community services.
