With a shopping model in place, clients have the autonomy to select their own grocery items, ensuring they choose foods that their families will consume. This approach not only promotes a sense of dignity but also reduces waste and eliminates the stigma associated with receiving pre-packaged food hampers.

Serving approximately 650-700 individuals each month, including 37% children and 30% women, the food bank has also witnessed a tremendous increase in the number of seniors seeking support, reflecting a growing need in the community. With over 120 regular volunteers and strong community partnerships, Orangeville Food Bank prioritizes inclusiveness, respect, innovation, and accountability in their operations.
