## Description

Oranjevereniging Oosterbeek is a community association that brings residents together to celebrate local traditions and mark important occasions connected with the Dutch Royal House. For more than a century, it has organised festivities for the monarch’s birthday and other royal events. Since the Second World War, its programme has also included the 4 May remembrance and 5 May liberation celebrations. The association’s activities are designed for people of all ages and help foster community spirit in Oosterbeek.

Its annual programme includes King’s Day celebrations, a fair and National Remembrance Day events, alongside other commemorations and community activities. The 2026 calendar also features a programme for the Day of the Rights of the Child, organised in cooperation with De Paasbergschool. Through its website, the association shares upcoming event details and highlights from past celebrations.

Oranjevereniging Oosterbeek welcomes members, volunteers, sponsors and new board members. Volunteers can contribute to planning programmes, arranging catering and attractions, or finding sponsors.
