## Description

ORBIT FOR LIFE is an initiative that advances life sciences, data processing, and advanced manufacturing in microgravity, connecting space-based research with practical benefits for people on Earth. It brings together researchers, industry professionals, academics, and the public to promote collaboration and make emerging fields more accessible through education, outreach, and community-driven projects.

The initiative supports research and development in areas including human physiology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, regenerative medicine, artificial intelligence, big data, and cybersecurity. It also highlights in-orbit manufacturing, 3D printing, new materials, and sustainable production methods. Its projects include work on organ-on-a-chip testing, tissue engineering, and research into organoids and stem cells, with potential applications in healthcare and drug development.

ORBIT FOR LIFE organizes events, workshops, and roundtable discussions, and shares information about life sciences and commercial destinations in low Earth orbit. Its expert council and international networks help guide projects and foster cooperation. Through these activities, the initiative aims to encourage scientific progress in space while supporting better health and quality of life on Earth.
