## Description

OrbitGenesis is a free-to-play space combat MMO for Windows and Linux, set in a contested galaxy of three rival corporations and 103 star systems. Players choose an allegiance to Mars Mining Operations, Earth Industries Corporation, or Venus Resources Unlimited, each with its own identity and approach to the frontier. The game centres on real-time combat against aliens, patrols, and other players, with victories increasing both a pilot’s rank and bounty. Pilots can mine resources across the galaxy, sell what they collect, and use their credits to improve ships with lasers, shields, drones, and stronger hulls. Clans provide a way to organise raids, share loot, defend sectors, and compete for control of the map. Players can also collect parts to build galaxy gates and battle through waves of enemies. OrbitGenesis offers live rankings, a clan directory, gameplay and faction information, a wiki, and community access through Discord. Getting started requires a free account and the game client, which is available for Windows and Linux and updates itself.
