## Description

Orchard Lake Hockey Association (OLHA) is a youth hockey organization focused on helping children develop their skills in a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment. Its programs follow Long Term Athlete Development principles and USA Hockey’s American Development Model, with age-appropriate instruction that prioritizes player growth while preparing teams to compete.

OLHA offers a progression of opportunities for young skaters, from Learn to Skate and beginner Learn to Play programs to house-level Mini-Mite (6U) and Mite (8U) hockey. The Little Eagles program introduces children ages five and up to hockey through cross-ice instruction, while younger players can build confidence and skating fundamentals before adding a stick and puck. House and travel programs provide further opportunities to practice, play games, and develop as part of a team.

The association also supports families with schedules, coaching and volunteer resources, and information about available ice time. Through introductory events such as Try Hockey for Free, OLHA welcomes new players and helps build a connected hockey community in Orchard Lake.
