## Description

Order of Malta | Rome, located at Via Condotti 68, is the seat of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta. As one of the oldest institutions of Western and Christian civilization, the Order of Malta remains committed to its founding principles of nurturing, witnessing, and protecting the faith, as well as serving the poor and the sick. With over 13,500 Knights and Dames, the Order is dedicated to spiritual growth, providing daily prayers, retreats, and spiritual outreach. Additionally, members actively engage in hands-on work at various organizations, including food banks, hospitals, homeless shelters, and mentoring programs. The Order of Malta is a sovereign subject of international law, with its own constitution, passports, and public institutions. It also maintains diplomatic relations with 112 countries and serves as a mediator between States due to its neutrality, impartiality, and non-political stance.
