Orfeu Negro is a Portuguese publisher dedicated to essays and other documentary works related to contemporary arts. Its catalogue spans fiction, non-fiction and illustrated books, with titles addressing subjects such as feminism, decolonial thought, ecology and culture. The publisher also offers Orfeu Mini, a collection for younger readers featuring illustrated stories by writers and artists including Gilberto Gil, Daniel Kondo, Oliver Jeffers and Kevin Waldron.
