# 台灣國際器官移植關懷協會 - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `organcare.org.tw` ## Description The Taiwan International Organ Transplant Care Association (TAICOT) is dedicated to safeguarding the rights of organ donors and recipients through increased transparency in organ transplantation practices. Founded to promote ethical standards and legal frameworks in Taiwan, TAICOT strives to reduce risks associated with organ transplants and combat illicit organ harvesting, particularly in relation to the alarming practices in China. The association actively advocates for legislative reforms to enhance domestic organ donation while strictly prohibiting overseas transplant tourism. Notably, TAICOT has made significant strides in collaboration with local and international partners to establish comprehensive legal safeguards and raise public awareness of organ trafficking issues. Their initiatives include organizing conferences, promoting world declarations against organ harvesting, and spearheading campaigns that gather cross-party support for stricter laws. Through ongoing advocacy and educational efforts, TAICOT aims to uphold human rights, promote just treatment for all individuals, and illuminate the grave realities surrounding organ transplantation globally. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/OrganCare.tw) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — SVG, PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1xtLFCmc/theme/dark/logo.svg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1777585747360) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1xtLFCmc/w/232/h/232/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1777585747445) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Midnight Blue | #002a6e | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - DFLiHei — asset _(custom)_ - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
