## Description

The Ormewood Park Makers Festival is a community event in Atlanta, Georgia, celebrating creativity, hands-on making, and the maker movement. The 2026 festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the heart of Ormewood Park at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Woodland Avenue. Visitors can explore an artist market, attend workshops, enjoy live music, and sample offerings from food and beverage vendors, including food trucks. The festival also features a KidsZone, providing an event area for younger guests. In addition to welcoming attendees, the organizers invite artists, workshop providers, food and beverage vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to take part. Volunteer opportunities include joining the planning group and helping with setup, teardown, and event-day operations. The festival is supported by a community of people interested in crafting, building, do-it-yourself projects, and creative making. Organizers share festival news and updates through a newsletter and welcome questions by email. The event is associated with SAND Atlanta and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
