## Description

Ornitho is an essential online platform dedicated to the exchange of information concerning the observation of various species in Catalonia, including birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, freshwater fish, dragonflies, butterflies, moths, cicadas, grasshoppers, saproxylic beetles, fireflies, crabs, slugs, snails, freshwater bivalves, and orchids. The website serves both amateur and experienced naturalists, providing tools and resources for documenting wildlife observations. Users can contribute data, participate in ecological projects, and access tutorials on data entry and species identification. Ornitho also engages the community through events such as the Ornitho-Swarovski race and offers real-time updates on bird migrations and local species sightings. With its user-friendly interface and comprehensive statistical analyses, Ornitho aims to foster awareness and appreciation for biodiversity while encouraging citizen science initiatives across Catalonia. Whether you are a casual observer or a dedicated researcher, Ornitho enriches your experience of connecting with nature.
