## Description

La Butega d’j Urtlan, or Bottega degli Ortolani in the local Pavia dialect, is a daily grocery destination in Voghera, Italy, associated with the Baggini agricultural business and the Orti Sociali project. Its work combines local farming with social inclusion, offering a community-focused approach to food production and access. The Orti Sociali initiative began in 2014 to connect agricultural activity with rehabilitation pathways and opportunities for workplace integration. The organisation also promotes organic products and social agriculture, and its activities include social bakeries, an educational and social farm, school programs, and events for families and the wider community. Through guided visits, workshops, and educational activities, it helps visitors learn about farming, food production, and the natural environment. The site also highlights local initiatives and partnerships across the Voghera and Oltrepò Pavese area, including projects supporting education, inclusion, and community wellbeing. With its retail outlet, agricultural production, and educational and social services, La Butega d’j Urtlan brings together everyday shopping and a broader commitment to participation and local community life.
