## Description

O Saltarico is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) based in Santo António dos Cavaleiros, Portugal. The association provides educational, childcare and family-support services to approximately 500 people, with a team of 53 staff members operating across three locations. Its main centre offers nursery care for 90 children aged three to 36 months and preschool education for 98 children aged three to six, organised across four classrooms. The institution also runs CATL, an after-school and leisure programme for school-age children, across several sites. These include its main centre and facilities at EB1/JI da Flamenga and AB1/JI Fernando Bulhões. At the latter school locations, CATL and extended-hours services support families beyond the regular school day. The extended-hours programme is delivered in partnership with Loures Municipal Council as part of its family-support initiative. O Saltarico also provides food assistance. The association publishes information about its activities, governance, budgets, accounts and service regulations, reflecting its role as a community-focused organisation offering practical support to children and families.
