# Osborne Scholarship - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `osbornescholarship.com` ## Description The Dr. and Mrs. Barney Osborne Memorial Scholarship is a family-founded scholarship program established in 1998 to support students in Ironton, Ohio. It honors Dr. Barney Osborne, a family physician and surgeon who served Ironton and nearby communities for more than 30 years, and his wife, Virginia, who worked with him during the final years of his practice. The Osborne family created the fund to help advance local students’ education. The program provides one-time awards to outstanding graduating seniors from Ironton High School and St. Joseph High School. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.
