## Description

OSCD, or Onderwater Sport Club Dordrecht, is an active underwater sports club based in Dordrecht, founded in 1960. For more than six decades, it has brought people together to learn, train and enjoy activities in and around the water. The club welcomes members with different levels of experience, whether they are looking for dive partners, regular club dives or opportunities to continue their training.

OSCD offers diving instruction, including NOB one-, two- and three-star courses, specialty training and conditioning sessions. Divers with qualifications from other agencies, such as PADI or SSI, can also join and continue from their existing level. The club’s activities include freediving and underwater hockey, a team sport played with a puck on the pool floor. Its ScubaDoe youth program, for ages 10 to 14, offers youth snorkeling and a junior diving course, with trial sessions available.

Members can take part in club events, tournaments and training, and use OSCD’s clubhouse at Dordrecht’s Sportboulevard.
