## Description

The Oskar-Lapp-Stiftung is a German foundation dedicated to advancing cardiovascular research and supporting early-career scientists. Established in 1992 in memory of entrepreneur Oskar Lapp, who died of a heart attack, it continues his interest in research, development and charitable work. The foundation works with the German Cardiac Society (DGK) to recognize young researchers each year for outstanding contributions to heart and circulatory research.
