Welcome to Šempas Kindergarten and Primary School! Located in the beautiful Vipavska valley, our school and kindergarten serve the villages of Šempas, Ozeljan, Vitovlje, and Osek. However, we welcome children from surrounding areas as well. Established in 1829 and relocated in 1980 to a new building, our school has a rich history and has undergone many changes.

Currently, we have 250 students aged 6 to 15 attending the school, and 140 children aged 2 to 5 attending the kindergarten. Our main goal is to provide a learning process that equips children with lifelong skills. We actively involve pupils, teachers, parents, and the community in our educational program.
