## Description

Otherlab is an independent research and design lab that combines creativity with rigor to develop innovative solutions in renewable energy and robotics. Similar to an accelerator or incubator, they nurture projects from the initial R&D phase to forming internal entities, fundraising, and spinning out into independently operating companies. With over 10 years of experience, Otherlab has raised over $70 million in research and design contracts and amassed $100 million in follow-on capital, resulting in the successful spin-out of 12 companies. They specialize in helping government agencies and Fortune 500 companies understand energy infrastructure and build transformative technologies for 100% decarbonization. Some of their current projects include battery integrated appliances, structurally optimized solar products, infectious disease isolation units, and isothermal compression technology. Otherlab values diversity and inclusion, recognizing that innovation is enhanced when diverse perspectives are heard. They are always seeking passionate individuals to join their talented team of inventors, engineers, scientists, and business professionals.
